The last few months we have been very busy developing our first Android game project. ArkDroid is what we would like to call “brick breaker evolved”; an Arkanoid clone game that comes to enrich the world of classic “brick breaker” games with cinematic storytelling and RPG essences!
Be certain that we have learned a lot during our first game development endeavor on the Android platform and we intent to share all the “juicy” details with the rest of the Java Code Geeks community!
Finally the time has come to officially launch the beta testing phase of the ArkDroid project. Thus we are kindly requesting your help by testing ArkDroid and providing valuable feedback about your experience with it. In return we will include your name in the credits screen shown upon game completion!
Everyone who owns an Android device can participate in the ArkDroid beta testing phase. Keep in mind though that our intension is to create an easily managed (around 20 individuals) but broad and diverse – in terms of Android device types and brands – team of beta testers thus not all applicants will be selected. All in all we will inform our community when the beta testing team is finally assembled so as to stop applying for a position.
In order to apply for a beta testing position all you have to do is to send an e-mail to me or ilias providing a small bio, clarifying what motivated you to apply for the beta testing position, and most importantly stating the type and brand of your Android device (and Android OS version) you will be using for the tests. We will try to inform you as soon as possible about the outcome of your request.
